Dr Lesley Arnold is a Research Fellow at Curtin University, Western Australia where she is investigating next generation spatial data supply chains with a view to accelerating data acquisition, processing and delivery, increasing access to knowledge, creating value for consumers and strategic sourcing. She is currently co-supervising four PhD students that are using Semantic Web and Ontologies to achieve next-generation spatial infrastructures.
Lesley is also founder and Director of Geospatial Frameworks - a spatial information consulting firm specialising in the governance, policy and strategic frameworks that underpin best practice Spatial Infrastructures. An example is “Cadastre 2034: Powering Land and Real Property” a national strategy for cadastral reform and innovation for Australia.
