Helen Owens, Principal Advisor for Public Data, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

A graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor of Business, Helen joined the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet as a Principal Advisor for Public Data Policy on 22 October 2015 after two years working on Data Policy in the Department of Communications. She is currently responsible for providing whole of government policy advice on the Australian Government’s Data Strategy, Data Infrastructure, Data in the Economy, and the Digital Government Strategy.
